First, no you cannot increase the resolution from what I can tell.

Second, I really think this is worth playing if you want to see some further (mainly romantic) development to the characters of HEARTBEAT. It isn't essential however. I got the soundtrack cause I wanted to listen to Troz's boss theme a bunch then found there was a bonus game included after.

Third, to reiterate the bonus game has no combat or puzzles, so this "guide" is only a reference point if you're lost. It's all about the dialogue here so enjoy and don't skip ahead, only refer to the "guide" if you can't figure out where to go next.

You start off as an unknown character on an unknown island, full of characters you'll recognise. Speak to Ark and Nile and then Avi, who will grab their egg. Return it to Nile, then return to Ark.

Talk to Gourmand the cat up north, who'll let you into the forest. Speak to Shep to find out you need money. Speak to Fang to get a letter to give to someone. Speak to Patch a couple times for something cute. Speak to Zheng for another letter and smelling salts. They both allude to who the recipient is, it's Xiu in the hobby shop to the northeast of the town. Return to Zheng and then Fang after.

Head right with your newfound kinda crunchy MIDI of Troz's theme. Traveler will let you through to Deep Chico. Speak to Kon and answer "Snowver", "Left hand", "Long", "Cache", "Soccer". You'd know most of those but "left hand" and "soccer" threw me off guard.

Have you figured out what the big secret of being a Conjurer is? Anyway, speak to Huo in the hobby shop back in town. Answer "D", "grapes and plums", "sunrise", "lets make a new friend". Obscure questions... You'd need HEARTBEAT open and looking through cards if you didn't wanna go through that trial and error. Anyway, head to Shep. Get a music box that'll let you past Bystander in the upper left.

Enter the building to find Luca, Chip and all the devs of the game (whys is Sil a ghost?). Chip gives you Tea Mix Crumbs. Talk to Ives and Quinn back in town to get a new music box. This'll let you past Tourist on the middle right of the forest. Speak to Frey there and then return to Quinn. No surprises there. Speak to Ives for a new music box.

Go to Vagabond in the upper-upper right of the forest to get past with your new music box. Enter the tindalos inn and speak to heide. Speak to both her and jazz again for some fun. Check out the building on the right for a breakdancing mott. Return to chip (upper left) with her book for a new music box that opens the middle left.

Speak to Io and Nyx. Poor Nyx. Enter the building on the left for a chat with Beck and Gwen. Nyx'll give you a music box that lets you past Mayor on the bottom right of the forest. You have to pass through Flexo's firefly catching game, the only confusing part is that you can go behind the tree from the left to get the last 2. You have to return them to Flexo within the the 40 seconds as well. Speak to Ven for a letter. Take it to..... Ives, back in town. Cute reasoning. Return to Ven for another music box.

Bottom left of the forest, use the music box to get past Steve. Speak to Tate for a key card, the door to Eve's office is locked. Return to Ann (upper right) for a house key card. Enter the building on the left to meet Wake and Skip, they'll give you another music box. Go to Pike (upper upper right) and run the cutscene. So, you have another music box. Where to? Vice in the lower left of town. She gives you one of two keys. Next of two keys is from... Luckily not Yorshk. Io in the middle left. She gives you another music box too. Wonder which girl was after her?

Finally, enter Eve's office. You can re-enter to chat to Klein. Head south to where Rex and Troz were fighting a tiny oni, then speak to Peppy Jack. Head south again. Make your final choice, it matters! Enjoy and look forward to HEARTBEAT 2... I can only assume this is a tease for that.
