jabaiting is the act of luring someone anywhere, most of the time with a reward or sound. this strategy has been used for millennia to lure animals into snares, armies into the wrong area and most recently, unsuspecting rushers into the frost mats.

jabaiting started with the more popular type of baiting called "bum baiting" where you would take a friendly and face away from the enemy, not moving. the enemy team would quickly rush to snap up the free kill and in turn be absolutely destroyed by the ambushers. bum baiting was birthed in halo reach and enjoy a complimentary helpful video courtesy of rooster teeth 2012.
