As you know, the game is a fixed frames per second (30 fps). In this tutorial I will show you how to remove this limitation and to play with 60 fps.

Then, put the file here: C:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon, agreeing to replace

That's it. Now the game 60 fps

Just FYI this patch causes a few issues, such as the jet's special ability consuming double the fuel

for anyone having troubles with the "slow motion" effect (at least on W10) what i did to fix this was change the gpu used on the [EDF-IA.exe] file.

I'm playing on a laptop, so maybe it doesn't work for everyone, i set the game to use the nvidia gpu instead of the integrated one.

i cant tell if its true 60fps or just 2x speed, at times it looks normal and at times it looks oddly fast

Downloaded the file and replaced the game file as stated above and it worked fine for me.
So amazing in 60FPS thanks so much for posting this fix up.
Now all I need is a fix for the resolution across 3 screens.
