Хоть в воздухе виснет рука палача.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Though the hangman’s hand hangs in the air.

Я волен, я смел, я дойду до конца.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I am free, I dare, I will reach the end.

И смерти в глаза напрямую гляжу.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And I look directly into the eyes of death.

Я все еще жив, и хочу еще жить :⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I am still alive and still want to live:
Любить, сострадать, ощущать, и творить.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Love, compassion, feel, and create .
Но что же.. Моя холодеет рука !⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But what .. My hand is getting colder!
И горьки мне воздуха те два глотка.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And those two sips of air are bitter to me.

И кровь замерзает внутри моих вен,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And the blood freezes inside my veins
И дух мой смирился за прочностью стен.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And my spirit humbled itself
Нет больше стремления к свободе и воле -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀No longer striving for freedom and will -

Как вдруг, мой палач волю мне предоставил !⠀⠀⠀⠀Suddenly, my executioner gave me free rein!

Казалось бы - радость должна появиться,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀It would seem - joy should appear,
Ведь это как будто по-новой родиться !⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀After all, it is as if born again!
Но нет же - ушла жажда жизни моя,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But no - my thirst for life has gone,
Исчезло желание познания бытия.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀The desire to know life has disappeared.

Считаете верно, что стал я безумен ?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Do you think it's true that I became insane?
Но тут я подумал, что лучше б я... Умер.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But then I thought it would be better if I ... Died ..
Лежал бы в земле, в состоянии покоя,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Lying in the ground, at rest
Укрытый от холода, засухи, зноя.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Sheltered from the cold, drought, heat.


И пусть даже грызли бы тело мое⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And even if they gnawed at my body
И черви, и волки, и воронье !⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀And worms, and wolves, and crows!
Устал я от алчности, лжи и корысти,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I'm tired of greed, lies and self-interest,
Не видел бы подлости, злости, и лести.⠀⠀⠀⠀I would not see meanness, anger, and flattery.
Забыл бы предательства, зависть обман,⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I would forget betrayal, envy deception,
Лишь одиночества был бы туман.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Only loneliness would be fog ..

Но я еще здесь, я пока не ушел -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But I'm still here, I have not left yet -
Я жду того часа, скорей бы пришел.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I wait for that hour, I would rather come ..
