MAIN PATHS GUIDE
By InfernalSuffering
This guide contains spoilers.

There are two main paths in Heartbound: the Glowbringer and Darksider paths.

Paths are determined by a "Fear" variable. Accumulated Fear seems to reset at the start of each act.

PLEASE NOTE: The content of this guide is of a more speculative nature, due to the fact that every choice made affects and changes the story in different ways.

There is no confirmation of a middle ground between the two main paths, yet.

All of the information here is verified by my own gameplay experiences as well as yours. For this reason, feedback is appreciated a lot.

This is currently unfinished, this is due to the game being still underdevelopment and the time it takes to verify how impactful each choice is in the story.

@euphoricEphemerality thank you for your feedback! The guide has been modified according to the information given. I'm not 100% sure about the light switches either, but I will take that info into consideration and hopefully verify it's possible impact one day soon.

interacting or not interacting with stuff in binder's room doesn't affect darksider/glowbringer, but changes which Jotunheim world you are sent to. i think the lightswitches in Hometown also affect curiosity meter/Jotunheim, but i'm not 100%

oh and does taking or not taking the axe affect the route? im assuming yes, and taking it is for darksider/neutral depending on what you did before, and not taking it is for brighter/neutral depending on what you did before :tobdog:

Yo i didn't know you could just interact with the book and not press any levers, ima try that, and does any other choices affect this route with not interacting with the levers?

Nice, I will probably try at least one run for myself, because I feel like that's what I'm supposed to do here with a game like this especially.

However I will probably add this in chase I won't figure those runs out myself.
