The Tau Plasma Rifle emplacement is widely employed by the forces of the Tau-Empire on battelfields across the galaxy. Usually those weapons are mounted on vehicles, such as the infamous Tau Battlesuits
While Tau plasma weapon technology packs less of a punch, then their imperial counterparts, this decrease of damage leads to a largely diminished risk of catastrophic malfunctions while firing. Yet still the emplacement needs to cool after a few shots, as the plasma projectile is still energetic enough too punch through even heavy armoured vehicles with relative ease.
