I'm almost done with my decision making, looks like I'll go with a few selected software and a new MIDI controller.

Ozone 9 is really nice, but the "Auto" master thing sucks IMHO (neat concept though), but I didn't get it for that so no loss... If you manually use Ozone 9, you can pretty much do anything that requires adjustments for dynamics (EQ, Comp, limiter, Desser, etc...) and it does it "really well".
That said, I'm gonna be dumping alot of the hardware after the summer (and Covid because people don't have extra cash to burn). I much rather invest in more Ram, drive space, and other related things (might upgrade the Audio I/O too).
Jokes aside, are hardware processors (compressors, filters etc.) that much better than, say, Reaktor setups or oZone plug-ins? Never had the opportunity for a side-by-side comparison. Cheers!
