What's the Trustfactor?
The Trustfactor is a value in CSGO that impacts your MatchMaking experience.
There's no way to see if you have a good or bad Trustfactor unless a other player in your lobby receives a message about your Trustfactor being lower than his.
How does it work?
When you start searching for a ranked match, like Competetive, Wingman or Dangerzone, the game will match you against players with a similar Trustfactor.
When searching for a game with teammates, the game will average the Trustfactor values of you and your teammates to fin enemies with a similar Trustfactor.

There are a few messages that can show up in the chat, when you start to search for a ranked match.

No Message
This is probably the best case you can get. It means that all of your teammates have a similar Trustfactor.

Yellow Message
This message means that the player mentioned in the message has a slightly lower Trustfactor than you. Nothing to worry about though.

Red Message
This message means that the player mentioned in the message has a significantly lower Trustfactor than you. It will impact your MatchMaking experience heavily. This message comes in combination with another message which informs you further about it

If you have a rather good Trustfactor, you will meet similar behaving teammates ingame. They will probably communicate, help you and be legit.
This is the best thing if you want to uprank i the game.

If you have a rather bad Trustfactor, you will meet worse behaving people ingame, They will probably troll you, be griefing, smurfing and in general be bad teammates.
Still try to be nice to get a better Trustfactor.
Improving your Trustfactor
Valve doesn't really specify how to increase your Trustfactor but here are a lot of things that helped myself to increase my Trustfactor.

  • Be friendly
  • Get commends ingame
  • Buy Prime Status
  • Don't shoot teammates | Possible Competetive Cooldown
  • Don't kick people for no reason | Possible Competetive Cooldown
  • Don't report people for no reason
  • Do Overwatch cases
  • Upload genuine Artworks, Guides, Screenshots
  • Trade with people
  • Use the Steam market
  • Join some discussions and groups
  • Like other peoples Guides, Screenshots, Artworks
  • Receive 5/10 Years Coins
  • Receive Service Medals | Rank 40

The only way to improve your Trust Factor is to be a positive member of the CS:GO and Steam community. Trust Factor matchmaking will continue to be adjusted, but all players have to do to improve their matchmaking experience is continue playing CS:GO and other Steam games legitimately. The more a user plays, the more information the system has and the easier it will be for the system to determine who they should be matched with.
