Roy Thomson Hall is a concert hall located in Toronto Ontario, Canada. Designed by "Arthur Erickson" and opened in 1982 the Concert Hall is known for its sloping and curvilinear glass exterior. The hall features seating for 2,360 guests and features a pipe organ built by "Gabriel Kney". The hall hosts a variety of events including movie screenings for the "Toronto International Film Festival" and is the home of the "Toronto Symphony Orchestra" and "Toronto Mendelssohn Choir".

The building was named after "Roy Thomson" (first Lord Thomson of Fleet and founder of the publishing empire Thomson Corporation) after the Thomson family donated $4.5 Million to complete the fundraising efforts to construct the facility. The concert hall underwent renovations in 2002 after musicians complained about the quality of the acoustics.
