New plant: Palmera Tree. Long growth period, can be harvested for Palmera Berries, which then can be cooked to high quality Steamed Palmera Berries.
A high-requirement crop with high-calorie yield.

Note: this mod uses assets found in the game files which have never made it to a live version.

Available either as a Care Package (cycle 48 or later) or as a recipe in the Molecular Forge: 10 Mealwood Seeds + 10 Fiber

Palmera Tree

• Life cycle: 20 cycles - domesticated, 80 cycles - wild
  
• Atmosphere:: Chlorine, consumed at a rate 1 g/s
  
• Temperature: 50 - 90 °C
  
• Emits 1 g/s of Hydrogen when awaiting harvest
  
• Yield: 10 Palmera Berries per harvest (10 kg total)

Palmera Berry

• Inedible
  
• Offgases Hydrogen when kept in atmosphere below 1.8 kg
  
• Used in Steamed Palmera Berry recipe

Steamed Palmera Berry

• Kitchen station: Gas Range
  
• Recipe: 1 kg of Palmera Berry
  
• Food Quality: Ambrosial +6
  
• Calories: 2000 kcal
