Just the fact Valve decided to add that one single thing to the soldiers. The radio chatter for Nova Prospekt. They gave them a bit of a personality.

This is one of the reasons nova prospekt is my favorite chapter. You get to hear the combine scramble to intercept you as you command your army deeper into their territory
