Boss Guide (Video)
Av nonukez
This guide shows what I believe to be the optimal ways to beat the bosses in the game Bunny Must Die. The only one I'm uncertain of is Chelsea herself; a few of her forms seem to move randomly. Also, this guide has speed running as the first priority, so some methods may be quite difficult (though with some practice, definitely doable).

Description
Note: It is very hard to explain the attack patterns in words; I suggest viewing the video first, and if something is not clear, then see this worded explanation as a second option. If you're still not sure, then send me a message.

First Boss: El Bobonboi

The first boss follows a specific pattern, which repeats until defeated:
- Shoot beams x2
- Flying charge at you
- Shoot beams x2
- Lands and stays stationary while shooting beams

You will need the light sword for this boss. When she's shooting the beams the second time, try to get close to her while dodging the beams. It's important to note that she moves closer to you if you back off, and moves away from you if you move towards to her. Don't push her into a corner, or you won't be able to get behind her when she lands. When she lands, jump behind her, get close to her and spam attack. Win.

Second Boss: Pure Aahaah

The second boss follows a specific pattern, which repeats until defeated:
- Shoot blue beam, follows you
- Shoot red beam above you
- Shoot blue beam, follows you
- Shoot red beam above you
- Shoot blue beam, follows you x2
- Shoot red beam above you

Again, light sword is the fastest weapon for this boss. Get as close to him as possible, and follow his attacks. Blue beam is dodged by jumping once (and twice when he uses blue beam twice) and red beam is timed with 3 full swings of the light sword. (Thank god there's a video, this is hard to explain!) Hold the attack button the entire time.

Miniboss: Moon Shadow, Endymion

Again, more timing, though a lot more simpler: get close to him with the light sword and hold attack, look at his iris for the sign of his first attack, then dodge it by jumping. After this, the timiing is: one swing of the sword, jump, one swing of the sword, jump, etc. until you beat him.

Third Boss: Nuko do Maron

This one is a bit more diifficult. Again, light sword. Dash attack the first paw that comes up; if you attack fast enough, you'll avoid him shooting the fireball. Do the same with the second paw that comes out. Then, jump over to the middle platform where he'll starting attacking you with both paws. Dash attack either paw the same way (avoiding fireball), dash jump over to the other paw (while jumping the fireball from the other paw) and swing your sword. Repeat. If you did this correctly, he should be dead! This avoids his other attacks that are far more annoying (since it makes him invincible for a short time).

Miniboss: Selene Millfall

Finally, a weapon other than light sword! You'll get the spike hammer from the room before, which you needed to kill the time bunny anyways. This miniboss feels more random, but not too much. Get to the closest platform to the boss, wait until she stays stationary, freeze time, throw the spike hammer, and unfreeze time right when the spike hammer is on her/behind her. Sometimes she'll stay stationary directly in front of you, which makes the aiming much easier. Other times, she'll be too far away to do anything, at which point you just have to wait until she does it again. You might take some damage, but she should go down easily.

Fourth Boss: Baron Bramdeau

This boss is in the next room after the previous miniboss, and luckily the spike hammer is the best weapon for this boss as well. This boss will also attack randomly, using one of 3 attacks:
- Shoot a single fireball by flashing
- Shoot multiple beams from his head (+ flashing)
- Shoot fireballs from the ground (+ flashing)

Watch out for the latter two flashings, as they are instakill if you face in his direction. His hitbox is his head, and the rest of his body is not solid. If the first attack comes up, there's not much you can do; dodge the fireball, and attack with spike hammer. He disappears quickly, so there's not much room for damage. With the second attack, signalled by a glow on his head, you simply have to run under his head and attack upwards with the spike hammer. Make sure you are slightly offset from the center of his body and facing the other direction. For the third attack, signalled by glows on the ground, wait outside his body until you see 2 glows. Then, run under his head and attack upwards, again slightly offset and facing away from him.

Crimson King, Pope Cucurbita

There are two ways to beat this boss, and this will depend on how comfortable you are with the spike hammer outside of boss fights. If using the spike hammer slows you down a lot outside of boss fights, then I suggest defeating him with the light sword, which takes about 5-10 extra seconds.

Spike hammer method: Go into the room, and as soon as you pass the gate (and the battle starts), freeze time. Shoot the spike hammer upward, and as the spike is behind the pumpkin, unfreeze time. This will kill him before he can even attack.

Light sword: Not much strategy here. Attack his minion pumpkins to take down his shield, and jump attack while following his movements until he dies.

Pumpkin King, Lord Pumpkish

Not much strategy here either. Unfortunately, you can't freeze time in this room (instakill for you), so you can't use the spike hammer method. Avoid his pumpkin suicide bombers and his bullets while jump attacking with the light sword.

Jester King, Choker Joker

Same as above. Sorry, no secret method of beating this boss (that I know of). When you damage him enough, he'll get close to the platform and start shooting a barrage of bullets. Time this properly; try to swing the sword *just* after he starts shooting bullets at you (so you destroy them ), and stay stationary while holding attack until he dies.

Sixth Boss: Halloween Alice

In the next room after the previous boss, in one of the breakable lights between the moving platforms, there will be a spike hammer. Get it and go up into the next room to fight Alice.
Stand on the platform that's just in front of Alice, and inch toward as close as you can to the edge facing Alice. This will start the battle. Same spike hammer strategy here; freeze time when she's in range, throw spike hammer, and unfreeze time. You may have to do this twice, as the ball disappears after a certain amount of time/hits. She will attack you during this, but with a set pattern; watch the video for reference and timing the blocks. You unfortunately can't kill her this way; she'll have a small amount of health remaining that won't go down until her next attack. When she starts her next attack, eyeball it, try to hit her with the spike hammer as she moves around everywhere. 3 hits should kill her at this point.

Final Boss: Chelsea Mamanaju

Bunny suit with some flaming kicks (if you're lucky to place any...) bring Chelsea down quite fast. I prefer using sylph shooter (the knives, forgot the name and don't want to check it out right now...) for BMD Final Boss.

sorry for being so specific, but things like this bother me, it's not called the light sword, it's called the faust samurai. (PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!)
