Construct

The Construct is the significantly more powerful successor to the Artifice. With a laser capable of peeling armor off of most ships, this laser artillery fills it's role very well.

It comes equipped with a powerful laser system, a LAMS system tied into the same backline, torpedoes for things that are in the water, and powerful shields that double as laser shielding.

The most novel thing about this design is that it uses complex ACB logic to dodge around and regulate it's behavior, as at the time the AI Breadboard was still somewhat of a mystery to me. I did have to update it a bit for the laser update, so there is a mild amount of redundancy between the breadboard and some of the ACB logic.
