Difficulty & AI Light

The goal of this mod is to promote use of difficulty slider, as well as making AI a bit better.

Not Ironman compatible.



-AI cheats less on harder difficulty, generally it's half of original game values.
-AI is more aggressive on Hard and Very Hard difficulty.
-Improved Army assignment logic.
-Partial Fix to AI's debt spiral.
-Disabling debase currency for AI.
-Tweaks to AI reasons for using guarantee and giving subsidies
-Event that disbands mercs if AI don't need them.

Overall AI should be more competent and provide adequate challenge without to much of cheating.

I'd like to remove/reduce diplomacy penalty, but as it's now it's hardcoded.

Expanded version of this mod, with extensive AI logic. Not compatible with most of the mods.
