This is actually my first guide on Steam for some reason. The formatting tools are a bit weird so I apologize if some sections of this guide look a bit weird.

Not long after I started playing Startup Company I went and looked for a guide for the achievements, however, I found there wasn't one with details on how to achieve each achievement. So after getting 17 out of the 20 achievements (the last 3 take quite some time) I decided I would share my knowledge with anyone else looking for a detailed achievement guide.

Enjoy Your Stay
Hired 1 employee


To acquire this achievement you simply have to hire one person by headhunting via your CEO or recruiter.

Interviewer
Hire 5 employees


To acquire this achievement you simply have to hire five people by headhunting via your CEO or recruiter.

A Small Loan of a Million Dollars
Take out 1 loan


To acquire this achievement you simply have to take out one loan from the bank. Despite the achievement name, you do not have to take out the million-dollar loan, any loan will work in this case.

Employment Machine
Hire 10 employees


To acquire this achievement you simply have to hire ten people by headhunting via your CEO or recruiter.

You're Out
Fire 1 employee


To acquire this achievement you simply have to fire one employee.

Into Black
Have a monthly profit of at least $0


To acquire this achievement you must be turning a profit of at least $0 per month, so as long as you are not losing money each month you should get this achievement.

You Aswell
Fire 5 employees


To acquire this achievement you have to fire five employees.

Super Speed
Have an employee reaching a base speed of 480%


To acquire this achievement you have to get one employee up to 480% base speed. An easy way to do this is to train them until they reach the expert level, and then you can train them a bit more to increase their base speed to max.

Researcher
Research everything


To acquire this achievement you have to research everything. This is easily done by hiring a good amount of expert researches and raking in all those research points. And from there go to the research tab and make sure you unlock every option available.

Not So Creative
Choose a not so creative website name


To acquire this achievement you have to create a website with the identical name of a real-life website. The following are examples that I know to work for this achievement.

Bankrupt
Go bankrupt


To acquire this achievement you simply have to go bankrupt. An easy way to do this is to create a new save game and do not take an investor. After that just spend the little amount of money you start off with and you'll go bankrupt.

Support
Resolve 1000 support tickets


To acquire this achievement you have to resolve 1000 support tickets. This one will take a bit of time, you'll need a website that is generating a lot of users that way you will get more support tickets. You also should make sure you have enough support staff to handle those tickets in a timely manner. Other than that it's a bit of a waiting game for this achievement.

The Collector
Reach an inventory of more than 100,000 of the same component/module


To acquire this achievement you have to reach an inventory of more than 100,000 of the same component/module. There is two ways of this happened, 1. You acquire 100,000 of one particular item over time without the user forcing this (this will take a long time), or 2. Have your staff focus on one particular component/module (preferably one with quick production time) until you reach 100,000 of that item.

Small But Efficient
Reach 1,000,000 users while still in the smallest office building


To acquire this achievement you have to reach 1 million users while you are still in the first office building. This is relatively to do, just remember to plan carefully while working towards getting to 1 million users since you can only have 10 desks.

World Domination
Became Top #1 of all website types in one game


To acquire this achievement you have to become number 1 of every website type in a single game. This one will take a bit of time, you'll need to create a website in each category and then become number 1 of that category.

Fireworks
Fire 10 employees


To acquire this achievement you have to fire ten employees.

Addicted
Play for more than 1000 in-game days


To acquire this achievement you simply have to play for more than 1000 in-game days in a save file.

The Zuck
Become the #1 Social Media product


To acquire this achievement you simply have to reach the number one spot for social media websites.

The Overclocker
Produce 1 million CU with all servers at 200%


To acquire this achievement you have to produce 1 million CU with all servers at 200%. The easiest way to do this is to use a clock rate controller.

First, you'll want to make sure ALL of your servers on are the clock rate controller. This can be done by clicking "Racks" (see screenshot below).

Next, you'll go your controller and set your default clock rate to 200% (see screenshot below).

And that's it! As long as you were already producing enough CU to be close to 1 million this should be enough to kick it over and get the achievement.

Sell Out
Own less than 10% of your own product


This achievement is a bit weird, the Steam information page says you have to own less than 10% of your website to get this achievement, however, I was able to get it once I had sold 51% of my website while still owning 49% (see screenshot below). Maybe a dev could clarify this.
I find the easiest way to get this achievement is to only accept investment offers of at least 5%, over time as your website grows you'll continue to receive more investment offers.
