TLS, or The Last Stand, was a big community driven update for Left 4 Dead 2 that came out late September, 2020.
Fixed a bunch of stuff and added a few things like unlocking the CS:S weapons, adding a couple new melee weapons and, of course, The Last Stand campaign.
Unfortunately this update also broke a few pre-existing mods on the workshop in one way or another, weapon skins like this being a prime example.

that's to be expected, i made this nearly 5 years ago. I don't even know what TLS is lol

For some reason this suffers the same problem a lot of magnum skins have that were made pre-TLS.
They are all incredibly shiny, like it's got a layer of epoxy resin on it.
