This ship is vanilla and survival ready. It does use DLC blocks for aesthetic improvements, but those blocks are entirely or almost entirely not structurally necessary. If you do encounter a major issue, please, let me know so I can resolve it.

Knightmare Industries presents the Siren Class Frigate, one of its latest generation of warships. The Siren is KMI's new deep space frigate based on the highly successful engine first used with the Kirin Light Cruiser. It's designed to meet the minimum KMI requirements for long-term deep space missions. The ship is named after the mythological Sirens, which would lure sailors from the ship's and to their doom.

The Siren's engine is a hybrid originally used on the Kirin Light Cruiser, with improvements in efficiency. The majority of its thrust comes from Ion thrusters, and they are powered by 1 Large Reactor and several Small Reactors, with a substantial Battery backup system. The ship is equipped with the standard 2 Jump Drives for long distance travel. It is armed with 12 Gatling Turrets, 4 Missile Turrets, 21 Interior Turrets, and 8 forward facing Rocket Launchers. The hull is mostly light armor, with heavy armor at the front. There are 2 Assemblers, 2 Basic Refineries and 2 Survival Kits on board, with 4 connectors for docking.

The ship is built fully vanilla and survival ready, with an interior in the style of "The Expanse." I also used a light changing script to switch around the interior light settings. Its an older script and I couldn't find the original creator. The script was updated by ColTeH for my use. There are also a few other program and timer blocks if you need them. You may have noticed, but the ship uses DLC blocks.

I'm going a bit out of order again, at least if we go by original start date. This is number 5 to be released. I wasn't sure it would be completed, as the interior was proving tricky. Thankfully I did what any good engineer would do and forced it to work. I like how the hull turned out. The engine fits nicely, and its one I'm quite fond of, enough so that I've reused it a few times now, whereas I usually make a new one for every ship. I think this ship will provide a nice addition to the fleet that's lower on the hydrogen costs and has an improvement in turret firepower over the Griffin. That and the engines use a lot of large thrusters, making it quite maneuverable. I hope you enjoy flying it!
