Instructions
1. Make sure the game is not running.
2. Open your User account folder. (Where your Documents, Pictures, Downloads, etc... folders are located.)
---If in doubt, or you want a shortcut, an alternative way to open your user account folder is hold the Windows key on your keyboard and then press R to bring up the "Run" dialog box. Then type in this text: %UserProfile% and press enter.
3. Open your "My Documents" folder.
4. Open the folder named "Ceville".
5. Open the config.cfg file with Notepad.
6. Find the line that reads full_screen=true
7. Change the line to read full_screen=false
8. Save the file by pressing File - Save.

Now all you need to do is open the game, once the intro cutscenes are through press Alt + Enter on your keyboard and it will switch the game to fullscreen with a borderless window. All of the cutscenes in the game should work now.

I just finished it.

It works for the entire game on windows 10 i played it on. I don´t know how many cut scenes the game has but i managed to watch "3 book/storytelling" between the chapters. So its probably all of them. I skimmed through a youtube full playthrough and it doesn´t look like i missed a cut scene either.

Didn't help for the "dwarf coffee crash" (Windows 10). Someone said disabling Steam overlay helps. But, fortunately the game made autosave during the crash so I could continue playing AFTER the crash point.

Unfortunately, this fix is not working for me on Windows 10.

Comp9, you are the man/woman! Seriously, I sure appreciate not only your help, but your kindness in creating this guide to begin with. Thanks again, mate.

@escape2 That varies depending on whether you are using Windows 7 or 8. Here's a way to access your user account folder that works in both versions of Windows. Press Windows Key + R. (More specifically, hold the Windows key on your keyboard and then press R to bring up the "Run" dialog box). Type in this text: %UserProfile% then press enter. Then continue on starting at step 3. I've updated the guide, thanks for your help in making it better.

Hey, comp9, thanks for doing this. However, I'm a bit of a newbie and I don't know where or how to access my User Account folder. Any help would be much appreciated.

No problem. Thanks for the input. It depends on what other updates and games you have installed. There are several threads running for it and the consensus is that it seems to vary wether or not this happens so the guide is here for those that need it.
