Freddi and Luther go to Calico Ranch to meet Freddi's cousin, Calico Catfish, who agreed to teach them to raise hogfish. Cousin Calico tells them that her prized hogfish herd had been rustled. Freddi and Luther head into Briny Gulch. While investigating, Luther finds a note dropped by the rustlers. It mentions a meeting at the Rusty Rustler, a local shipwreck, at high tide. They try to enter the wreck, but are stopped by a rustler. Using the magazine advertisment the rustler gave them, Freddi and Luther then set out to find materials for making rustler disguises.

The Demo begins in the Crossing of Briny Gulch in which Freddi Fish & Luther are searching for Calico's Hogfish which have been Rustled (and not the Ruffled kind either). You won't find the Hogfish in the Demo Version so you'll have to wait until you played the Retail Version as you only start with a Bandana & 3 Purple Sea Urchins. So head on Left & you'll notice the Mail Carrier has a problem. The Wheel on the carrier has fallen off and needs a new nut to hold onto the wagon. The Wheel Nut's Slot for the Mail Carrier is Randomized for each Demo Walkthrough. So head Right until you meet Gil Barker. Pay him the 3 Purple Sea Urchins to buy a wheel nut that matches the correct one on the Wheel Nut Slot on the Mail Carrier. Once you have the Wheel Nut, return to the Mail Carrier and use the Wheel Nut on the Mail Carrier's Wheel and the demo will end. But don't worry, Freddi & Luther will have more fun in the Retail Version & hopefully there'll be tons of fan mail from the Demo Version too.

1. Create a new Folder on your C Drive and Name it: "HEGames".

5. Create a New Folder in your HEGames Folder, then Name it "Freddi4Demo".

6. Copy the Freddi Fish 4: The Case of the Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch Demo Files to your Freddi4Demo Folder on your Hard Drive.

7. Run the ScummVM Installer & follow the instructions shown.

8. DON'T Open Freddi Fish 4: The Case of the Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch the Demo Version just yet. If you're using a newer computer, you'll need to use the ScummVM Emulator.

9. Open ScummVM
10. Select "ADD GAME"

11. Find the folder where Freddi Fish 4: The Case of the Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch the Demo Version is Installed on your Hard Drive, select CHOOSE & then select OK. After that, the game should be added to the ScummVM Library.
