Intro
Hey there! I see you clicked on this guide to learn how to make explosive barrel mines! Well, that's why this guide is here! You can skim right through it, as it is quite simple but useful!
Shopping list
The tools you will need are:
-Access to Noclip (optional)
-Precision tool
-Access to Physics and Gravity gun
-Access to Color Tool (optional)
That's it!
Getting to work
1. Spawn in a explosive barrel (pretty easy)
2. Grab your Gravity gun and grab the barrel, then shoot it up into the air. Now the barrel is in mine mode, and if anything touches it it will immediately explode.
3. Quickly switch to your Physics gun and grab it, then lower it to the ground (if you dont have noclip) *and rotate it so it is horizontal.*
4. Grab your Precision tool, and push it into the ground so half of it is above ground.
*5. Grab your color tool, put the opacity at <30 and click on your barrel.
*6. (if you didnt use color tool) Place a prop over it, no collide it with everything and then make sure the prop isn't seethrough.

* = optional
Step 3, rotate part= it is very recommended to do this one as you increase the possibility of the mine getting triggered, but the downside is the barrel is slightly more visible.

Note that the barrel most likely won't kill anyone in one hit, so it is best to scatter them around in unexpected and popular spots, or just shoot them with a pistol like once or twice.
Good job
Nice, you finished making yourself a near-invisible mine! Now go out and protect your OP DarkRP base, your cardboard box castle or your mighty base! It's all up to you.

This does not work. To make it work, instead of using the physics gun to stop it from reaching the ground, you must weld it to the world, or a frozen prop. Alternatively, you can use the precision tool, by left clicking with it, and then precision welding it to the ground, it will be effectively frozen in place, and can then be pushed into the ground with the precision tool. However, the center of the barrel is where the explosion comes from, so the further you burry it into the ground, the lower the damage it will do.
You can also do this with any explosive prop that can be launched by the gravity gun like a grenade launcher.

I shall test this, however, if it does function, i must say: This is a great concept. It is extremely useful.
