Additional TIPS :

Try to do as much damage as possible when provoking the transformation.
Avoid unnecessary conflict with the poison pods. PLAN YOUR ROUTE.

Not sure if it was patched or something, but for me they pretty much run straight through the life leech and machine gun fire. Doesn't seem to affect their movement at all no matter what angle I try. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but this strategy's just not working for me so far. Thanks for posting though.

Thanks bud ! The Life Leech doesn't necessarily "block" them, because they can push it a little and slide past it.
