1. Buy Sonic Adventure[gg.deals]
   
   
   
2. Click Download
   
   
   
3. Backup your saves if you want
   C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\SEGA\Sonic Adventure DX\SAVEDATA
   
   
   
4. Run the SadxSetup.exe file you downloaded.
   
   
   
5. When installing, its destination should be set to the games folder.
   This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > Sonic Adventure
   
   
   
6. Once finished, If you backed up your save files, go to the games folder.
   C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Adventure DX
   
   If the Savedata folder isn't there, create a folder called SAVEDATA and put your Save files there.
   
   
   
7. Now you can open and play the game. Enjoy! ^^

Download and extract them to the games mods folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sonic Adventure DX\mods

The Mod manager automatically checks for any mod updates.


On Steam, When you press Play, it gives you the option to open the Configure menu.

1. To open the Mod Manager, select the Mods button at the Top Right.

   Some mods have Configurations. Select the mod then select Configure.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
4. Codes Menu
   Select the Codes menu at the top to access toggles that are kind of like cheats but some are visual. Here are my favourites:
   

Graphics - Change the resolution and remove blue border with "Background Fill Mode".

Input - Change your game inputs

Sound - Toggle music, sfx and change their volumes

Options - Decide if the game pauses when inactive and change when the manager will find updates.

Debug - Load any level or event, play as any character in any level

Different mods have different affects on visuals. This installer will also remove the blue border. :)

   then find a mod, and download and extract them to:

2. Mods are automatically updated when opening the Mod Manager.
   
   
3. The game shouldn't crash once this is program is installed. I am unsure of what you should do if it does. Maybe try changing some options in the mod manager.
   
   
4. You can still use a keyboard. In the mod manager, there should be a mod that lets you edit keyboard controls.
   
   
5. Steam Achievements can still be unlocked.
   
   
6. All mods are optional and can be toggled on or off.
   
   
7. All mods are made by various different people, as you can see when looking at the Mod Manager.
   
   
8. The game's folder size goes from about 1GB to 2.2GB.
