For some reason my money counter rocketed into 1mil the moment I broke the first error barricade, then suddenly my debt was accurate again when I picked up a pile of money. Then I was 2k positive when I completed lil thug's "deliver the message" quest I was suddenly down to ONE CENT!

The counters in this game are buggy as hell.

I have never had this problem and I usually mess up some how like I start buying stuff before getting the card that makes you money but I still end up with more than enough, but the can flinging really helps.

I entered Geocity with -$40,000 from purchasing every possible item in the previous areas, and left with slightly over $1m just by doing the quests and picking up about half of the floating cash bundles.

The easiest way to start doing the main quests in the level is to find one of the manholes that the guy wearing the American flag shirt pops out of, then setting a bookmark in front of it. He'll pop out of the other manhole down the street, so you run to that one, and he will jump back to the first manhole. Hit your bookmarker again to travel back instantly, switch to the Liker and click on him to initiate dialogue and start the line of quests.

This level is also significantly more complicated than the other ones in terms of traversal, so make sure to scour every inch of every part of it with the glitch lens on the camera in order to open all the areas and activate all of the hyperlink panels you will need to get around.

Not getting enough money? that's funny I keep either clipping myself or needed items out of the map...

The picture was randomly pulled from the Steam directory. You can't post a guide without posting a "brading" image, so I just grabbed the first PNG I found. If you don't like that, Valve, then make a placeholder image.
