How to Make A Wildlife Area Like Site B in Sandbox...
By StrangeBehavior17
This is a guide on how to make in the Nublar Sandbox, a wildlife preserve with almost little human elements, a way of making something really cool where you can have over 320 dinosaurs running wild and free...Using this format that I'm about to explain could also be used to make areas based on certain prehistoric environments, like Hell Creek...

Introduction...& Tips Regarding the 1.8 Update...
This type of park building is further boosted in replayability by the (As of 6/21/19) recent 1.8 Patch for the game, with the addition of terrain tools, fish feeders, contour lines during landscape shaping, & the scenery tab with its individual trees & rocks.

These additions will definitely help make constructions of your wildlife preserve easier to make.
Step #1: Readying the Sandbox...
First, let's begin with setting up the park with the Sandbox Settings...

Instead of explaining what you should switch individually, I took the liberty of taking screenshots of the Sandbox Settings for my example. These screenshots show what I found to be the best combination of Sandbox Settings for showcasing all the dinosaurs.

(The Dinosaur Population & Social Requirements, the Unlimited Power, the No Failed Incubations, the Dinosaur Escapes, the Infinite Feeders, & the Combat Frequency are the most important ones to focus & change on, depending on what type of wildlife preserve you're going to make...)

For this example, though I changed a few of these settings, I want the Population requirement to be disabled, but the Social requirement to still be enabled despite what the screenshots show. This is so I don't worry about dinosaurs like the Sauropelta (the most solitary dinosaur in the game) feeling overcrowded...

Next, though I didn't take a screenshot of this, is to ready the terrain near the entrance for the incubators. Nice, flat, terrain is the best option to put in multiple incubators close together, so to easily attain this desired terrain, so I would use the water tool near the entrance and brushed it around the area of land you will put my multiple incubators in. Why multiple incubators will be explained in the next step.

After you cover the land you want flat with water, go use the Flatten Terrain brush on the entrance to the park and lay it over the water. After you turned the water back to land by this method, you should have a desirable layout of flat land for the next step....
Step #2: Layout the Incubators...
If you followed the previous steps, then you are now ready to plant multiple Hammond Creation Labs/ Incubators...

For space efficacy, it's advisable to place the Labs as straight and close to each other as possible, these screenshots in this step show you what to do exactly as an example...

When you line up your Labs (for this example I had 7 Labs placed on the flat terrain from the previous step), the end result should look like this to space out your dinosaurs...

This allows multiple dinosaurs to be incubated at a time, which completes the 'ecosystem' part of your wildlife preserve that much quicker. Though I placed 7 in my example, you can add more or less Labs depending on what you decide is good.

Now to encourage your dinosaurs to spread out into the enclosure you've created, (I structured this example to be used as a massive tour around the park, so it's entirely optional to follow this next section of this step) you should close off the area around the Labs & Arrival Point, so they don't wander in the lab area until you're ready to ditch them if need be. As I made this with the safari in mind, I fenced off the area like so...

That indent on the corner of the two Labs are where I'm gonna put the safari entrance at, and you'd notice how I had the fence wrapped behind the park entrance. That is no glitch, and is doable, quite easily. Having the fence constructed like this makes it where no dinosaur, especially the small dinosaurs like Velociraptor & Struthiomimus ends up in this area you (for now at least) don't want dinosaurs in.

Once that's is set up, you can (optionally do this before closing off the lab area) set up the Lab upgrades like so, (Especially if you had the No Failed Incubations option active) where if your goal (like mine for this example) is to have some of the dinosaurs at their maximum possible social limit in this screenshot. In it, you'll notice I have the Hatchery Capacity Upgrade highlighted, this is because if the Sandbox settings I had you keep note of are active, this is the best upgrade for this type of park building.

You now add the Hatchery Capacity Upgrage to all upgrade slots on all your Labs. Once done, using my example, you should have as many as 35 available slots to incubate dinosaurs to release into your wildlife preserve.

OPTIONAL ADDITION TO NOTE!!! (PALEOBOTANY)
As the Claire's Sanctuary DLC added Paleobotany to the game, as you would reasonably add all the feeders wherever you like them, you can add the paleofeeders if you desire throughout your park, and I am sure some of you are aware that you can have more than one Greenhouse in the Sandbox. You will require the Ranger Station added if that's the case...
Step #3: Readying the Dinosaurs...
If you made it this far, Congratulations! Now you're just one step from completing your Wildlife Preserve...

But, hold on for now, there are a few more parts to this step to go (especially if you have the Combat Frequency setting on, but if you aren't that interested in this part, then go on and create your dinosaurs, but this is somewhat important to note: Incubate all herbivores first, then you can incubate carnivores)...

As, for my example, I want my reserve to have (as far as herbivores are concerned) all my dinosaurs' Social limits at their max, we now have to go into the Modify Genome tab for this step...

Although I have the Ankylodocus highlighted in this screenshot, it will not be used as an example as when I tried this out, I didn't want hybrids in my preserve. Instead, I use the Ankylosaurus in this example for the next screenshot. A major benefit to having No Failed Incubations activated is that you can go absolutely ballistic on the genetic modifications and create uber-powerful, super dinosaurs if you decide to have carnivores attack your herbivores. But for this example, I have this screenshot highlighted over one gap of the DNAin particular...

As you noticed, I have the Gap ID: Social tab active, and for my example, if you want the social limit of the dinosaur maxed out, I recommend you go to the social tab and activate this particular gene; Group_2.0 on any social tabs you see when you modify the dinosaur's genome. Doing so will increase its social limit up to 3 more of that dinosaur's specific social limit.

As to use Ankylosaurus as an example, its social limit unaltered is 1-to-4, but with the aforementioned gene implemented, that limit becomes 4-to-7.

At this point, you may now go create as many dinosaurs for your reserves as you want, or make themed reserves around specific time eras for the dinosaurs like a Late Cretaceous Hell Creek Reserve, or a Middle Jurassic China Preserve.

This was an example I made some time ago before some of the major updates were implemented in the recent patches & DLC. There are a total of 302 dinosaurs in this map, all of them are herbivores (Their social limits were maxed without the social mods, and the only dinosaur I duplicated was Mamenchisaurus, 2 sets of 4 are on this map)...

I've add a list of all the Dinosaurs' Social limit maximums below, if any of you are willing to try my method out...

Afterthought...
I hope this helps out with making your completely wildlife preserve ideas...

I'm looking forward to hearing out what kinds of wildlife parks you make with my guide.

Also, I challenge all the Jurassic World Evolution YouTubers like Bestinslot & TheGamingBeaver to try and make parks like this one stated in the guide!

Hope it helps....

this is literly impossible to do with carnavores, the ai for carnavores is retarded they don't kill to eat or to protect territory they kill everthing as fast as they can with no limits. not sure why they cant fix the ai even operation genisis had better ai thats way older.

I would like it if lakes were added so my Spinosaurids can finally swim.

Yep, I've been doing this with JPOG since before it was cool. This is the new greatest way to make a park. A singe paddock for guests and rides while the entire map is dinosaur accessible. Now imagine how cool it would be if the devs would open the entire island for us..

awesome, i just wish they implemented realistic hunting for carnivores so they couldnt just one shot most of them so we could have some what realisitic wild safaris where carnivores actually had to hunt and pick their prey
