Theocratic Kings

描述
This is a simple mod that removes the restriction on vassal Theocracies by allowing the player to grant kingdoms and empires to theocratic vassals.

Theocratic vassals are super useful as they use open elective succession, meaning that another vassals will never inherit their title. As Pontifex Maximus, you also get a nice relationship boost with these vassals and they tend to be less ambitious leading to a very stable realm.

Further more, it localizes Hellenic theocratic kings to Pontifex Magnus (Pontifex Magna for females) instead of the generic King-Priest.

Please note that you can only grant one title to count level theocracies. The simple way around this is to include lower titles when granting the kingdom.

If anyone knows which file needs to be edited to allow this, please let me know!

Yeah, it’s a great mod. Unfortunately, that forces papal clothing, the title of pope, a papal name, and all kingdoms you give out being considered theocracies on you, not to mention making it impossible to make it hereditary (I kind of want to make a truely “Holy Roman Empire” playthrough that makes the Roman Emperor also pope as a non-primary title, and making a holy Roman dynasty of sorts, but am unable to as per that mod and apparently any similar mods currently available).

@truelove101992 So I believe that the Papacy title would override your current government, making you a theocracy which is game over. The purpose of this mod is to remove the silly limit on vassals that prevents you from making vassal theocracies kingdom or empire level. There is a mod on the workshop, "Playable Dynastic Theocracies" that makes theocracies playable.

Would this also make it possible for, say, Emperor/Augustus of the Roman Empire to have Pope as one of his subtitles?
