Controller Setup using Steam Input Configuration Guide

Step 1

In Steam Desktop mode right click on the game and select properties.
Disable Steam Overlay.
Force Enable Steam Input.

Step 2

In Steam Big Picture mode go to Settings -> Controller Settings.
Enable a Controller Configuration Support.
Ensure your controller is detected.

Step 3

In Steam Big Picture mode go to Settings -> Base Configuration -> Desktop Configuration.
Browse Configs and select a Desktop Configuration.

Step 4

In Steam Big Picture mode go to Settings -> Base Configuration -> Big Picture Configuration.
Browse Configs and select Official Configuration for Big Picture.

Step 5

In Steam Big Picture mode go to Abe's Exodus -> Manage Game -> Controller Configuration.
Browse Configs and select Abe's Exodus PS1 Bindings.

Step 6

Exit Steam Big Picture mode and launch the game in Desktop mode.
The controller will not work in Big Picture mode.

this guide was written before the big Steam UI refactor. it's probably out-of-date now.

When i go into Big picture mode i can't find configuration support or base configuration or desktop configuration. I can use the analog stick and move on the game, but the buttons do nothing at all, help would be appreciated.

Hi i follow the tutorial and all the button are working except the throw button (B button on Xbox game pad) anyone already got this ?

literally only needed just step 1 and its perfect! didnt even have to map controls, and its like playing it on the playstation again.

Some some reason I don't see any Abe's Exodus PS1 Bindings (Step 5)
What do I wrong? can´t get my Switch PRO Controller detected...
