This guide tells you everything you need to know about achievements in game Astral.

Important information + Collector
It is not just possible, but easy to get all achievements in a single playthrough, there is a good chance that you won't miss any without checking the guide or just 1-2, so this guide more like just a statement that perfection is easy and doable, still you can find information if you missed any achievement.

Once completed the game click on play and choose continue instead of new game, selecting continue alows you to replay chapters.

There are 9 chapters from where you can replay that area, i divided achievements in this guide to the chapters where you can earn it.

Many achievements can be earned anywhere, i still move it to the chapter where i earned it.

Completion time: ~2h, even without guide. While there are many missable achievements i believe only 2+collector achievement what is easier to miss.

Collector

I not made screenshot about the collectible tapes as i was recording my game. Unfortunately the game immune to being recorded, i never had such problem before but when i tried to record it with OBS i wanted to edit once i was done but it recorded only the sound, the screen was frozen to the starter screen for the whole video. Planned to replay and record it with other programm, tried a few but all had the same issue.

So if you playing please look out for tapes, they are very hard to miss except the one in Downtown chapter.

Laboratory
Pioneer

This one is actually awarded for launching the game so can't be missed.

Awakening

And this one for starting the game so can't be missed.

Listener

Get the first tape, only one collectible which easier to miss and that's at the end of the game so you shouldn't have any problem to get this and collector.

Historian

There are documents around the floor, just check one of it, these also provide information about how you should progress.

Box tamer

Just push one box, can't leave first room without doing so = unmissable.

Open sesame!

Storyline related, can't leave first room without opening the door.

Manipulator

There will be a screen on wall with Attention or important or with a text something like that, push E front of it to loot up the item which let you control monsters, can't progress on the game without it so unmissable

Got caught

Get killed by a monster, as it wasn't exactly clear you need to keep pushing Q until monster is get controlled it is easily done by the first time you encounter a monster.

Hard-faced

Just move toward to a wall or unmovable object and try to push it.

Telepathy

You get this the first time you manage to control a monster. Unmissable.

Destroyer

You get this the first time you destroy some objects with your controlled monster. Unmissable.

Instigator

Keep moving forward with your controlled monster and fall down with it into the hole.

Across the abyss

Jump over the hole with the boy. Storyline related as can't progress without doing it.

Hacker

There are an easy and basic minigame for opening doors, controlling turrets etc, solving it the first time will give you this. Unmissable.

Upstairs

Awarded for leaving the laboratory. Unmissable
Field
This part of the game don't have any missable achievement.

Alone in the field

This is awarded for reaching the area, can't be missed.

Find

Once left the laboratory head to the left, there is a keycard, loot it up and this achievement is yours. Can't progress without it so unmissable.

Exterminator

There are turrets in the game which kills you. While controlling the monster you need to run toward the turret and attack it. Monsters dont die instantly once they got hit by a turret so there is just enough time to reach it and attack it. Reload last checkpoint if you fail, can't progress without destroying so unmissable.

Cracker

Hack the turret console, it is same minigame as for the door was in laboratory.
Forest
Forester

Awarded for reaching the area, unmissable.

Key keeper

Close to the grandfather there is the keys to the shelter, unmissable. At grandfather hug the rock so you will see a note on the ground on the other side of the rock. This just gives clues about the Where is the grandfather? achievement which is the easiest to miss.

Miner

Just enter the mine. Unmissable

Invisible

If you hide behind boxes monsters can't see you, once you enter the mine there is also a note which explains this to you. First time you hiding behind boxes you will get this achievement. Unmissable.

Killer

Kill a monster with a controlled monster, you can do it first time in the mines and definietly can't finish the game without getting this achievement so unmissable.

Lifter

Use the lift in the mine. Unmissable

Where is the grandfather?

This is definietly the easiest to miss achievement. You looted up the key for Key keeper at the grandfather and if you hugged the rock at grandfather you seen a not on other side. Now once you used the lift and on the surface again head to left, there is the note. Usually you would just loot the note and move to rigth, but instead hug the rock so you can see other side of the rock. The grandfather is gone and you get this achievement.

Leap of faith

Unmissable, there is one gap where you need to jump from one side to another but you dont see the exact landing position on other side, reaching this point will unlock the achievement.
Suburb
City dweller

Unmissable, awarded for reaching the city.

Plumber

Achievement awarded for entering the sewer. Unmissable.

Fugitive

In this part of the game you can lure a monster to a working turret. So get close to a monster, flee away from it to the direction of a turret and once the monster is killed by the turret while it chasing you then the achievement is yours.

Tagged

Missable, but you should get it while playing regularly, just get killed by a turret.

Suicide

Missable, just jump down at a location where you will die from jump, Bridge level is a good area for it if you miss it during the city.

Submariner

Enter the submarine. Unmissable.
Under water
This part of the game don't have any missable achievement.

Egyptian

There is an underwater pyramid in this area, enter it and achievement is yours. Unmissable.
Outskirts
This area of the game don't have any missable achievement.

Machinist

In the outskirts are there will be an area where you will enter a train or metro car, doing so achievement unlocked. Unmissable.
Bridge
Over the bridge

Get to the Bridge area. Unmissable.

Platformer

Jump from one platform to another at the bridge area at a location where the bridge is partially broken and you need to get to the other side. No other way around so this is also unmissable.

Crane operator

Just climb up to the top of the crane, unmissable as thats how the story progressing.

Extremal

The crane hold some pipes which is a platform so first you need to jump to there then you can jump to the next location, if i remember rigth this is also unmissable.

Engineer

This is missable. Make sure you activate the turret instead of mind controlling the first monster and killing the other monsters with it.

Downtown
Office clerk

Unmissable, just enter the office building.

Collector

This is the point where you should get the collector achievement. Until now the tapes were always at easy to spot areas and the game is pretty linear up to this point so you really should have all of them. When climbind down the ladder from office building you will see the tape to the left so when you reach the ground solve the left side first. If you go to right you can't return to the left side.

Faster than wind

I believe you can get this at earlier too but this is the area where you should get it without even caring about it. When a monster running after you you should get to safety when a monster is already close to you. In this part of the game there is an area where you need to hide behind boxes but the monster keep heading to the other direction only for 1 more second so it will turn and start to run after you. When jumping on the boxes at the end of the passage the monster should be close to you already.

Master of disguise

Unmissable, there is a spot in this area where you need hide behind boxes while 3 monsters close to you. Passing this spot will grant you the achievement.

Squirrel in a wheel

This is the another achievement which easy or possible to miss. Once passed that 3 monster setup for Master of disguise you will be able to hack turrets, from there head to left instead back to these 3 monsters. If you go to left the achievement will unlock.

Pipeliner

Awarded when you enter the pipe which leading out from the zone. Unmissable.
Bunker
Shelter 76

Just reach the shelter, unmissable.

Maniac

I believe it is missable if you not activate all turrets inside the shelter, so just do it.

Savior

Unmissable, reach the surviviors inside the shelter.

Winner

Unmissable, finisht the game.

I don't think Engineer is level specific because I just unlocked it on the Bunker level after activating the turrets inside the shelter. Probably triggered by a counter rather than location.

For Engineer , I did still climb the ladder and activate the turret to get the Achievement. If anything, mind controlling the monsters on the lower level made it easier, as it clears that level and the two monsters on the upper level can be completely ignored as they're both facing away from you. I just meant that doing it the way I did meant going up the ladder isn't mandatory to continue, as stated in the comment below :)

Engineer is missable. I took out all of the monsters on the lower Bridge level (by controlling the first one you see, using him to kill the other two, then walking him off the bridge to the right where you get the Platformer achievement). Doing it this way, you don't actually need to climb up to the upper level to activate the turret.

Maniac: I got it as soon as the last monster died inside the bunker. So having all turrets may not be neccessary (I had all turrets, so can't confirm).

Faster than wind: Unmissable. You get it for making your escape from the monster. The monster was still pretty far away from me when the achievement was awarded.

Engineer: In the Bridge level, after riding the pipe stack back down to the bridge, you come to an area where the turrets have malfunctioned. Reactivating them gives you this achievement. Unmissable, as you can only get past a certain monster by luring it into them.

Platformer: You get it for the final jump at the first partially broken bridge section. Jumping across that gap from the upper walkway is not possible, so this achievement is unmissable.

Fugitive: yes, you receive it while fleeing from a monster that then gets killed by a turret. It is unmissable. I am not sure if it is unmissable in the Suburbs, but you cannot progress in the subway section of the Outskirts unless you flee from a monster past a hacked turret.
