Sneaky Sniper (DS One Down)
By RickFam0us
This is a build I mostly use on Death Sentence. It's very effective for taking out enemies from a very long distance or clearing an entire squad quickly. This build is highly customizable for your own preference.

Before You Read
This guide assumes you have already owned the Ultimate Edition and have reached at least level V-100 in-game.
Skills - Mastermind
    Notes
  • Inspire aced.
  • Graze aced (main damage source).
  • Two medic bags.
  • No Joker (sorry).
Skills - Enforcer and Technician
Notes
  • There are 6 points left so I put them here, you can use those points however you want. I recommend Transporter for its usefulness in most heists. You can use Shock and Awe to benefit your teammates as well.
  • Nothing in Technician tree but you can put the previous mentioned unused points here.
Skills - Ghost
Notes
  • Sneaky Bastard and Low Blow are both basic.
  • If you still have the unused 6 skill points from the Enforcer Tree, I suggest going for Dire Need or Shockproof instead of maxing Inner Pockets since its ace is quite useless to this build.
Skills - Fugitive
#1
Notes
  • Swan Song aced.
  • Messiah aced.
  • You can trade aced Swan Song for aced Feign Death if you are not confident enough.
#2
Notes
We always need a little extra movement speed with Running from Death.
Perk Deck
One of the most used deck on Death Sentence.
A good perk deck but depends heavily on Smoke Bomb.
Loadout - Equipment

Always useful on One Down.

High movement speed, high dodge,...
Loadout - Melee and Throwable
Melee

  • Tasing enemies, very effective.
  • Useful for dominating enemies.

  • Dealing damage over time.
  • One hit kill common enemies.
  • It's fun to watch them throw up.
  • It's hard to dominate enemies with this weapon.
Notes
You can use any melee weapon as long as its base concealment is 30 (32 with Inner Pockets) or above.

Throwable

  • Stunning enemies.
  • Useful for escaping, interacting, killing,...
Notes
You can use anything you like. I personally love the Concussion Grenade for its usability.
Loadout - Weapons
Since we didn't ace Sneaky Bastard or Low Blow, we need at most 5 detection risk to maximize their bonuses (10% dodge & 30% crit). You can trade your dodges and crits for a higher detection risk (which means a wider range of weapons to choose from).

Primary Weapon
You can choose any sniper as long as its concealment is higher than 20 after being fully modded.
Any sniper I list below is suitable for this build so pick the sniper you prefer the most.

PRO
  • High ammo pickup rate.
  • High fire rate.
  • High concealment.
CON
  • Moderate damage.

PRO
  • Very high damage (one-hit-kill Medic and Cloaker).
CON
  • Low fire rate.
  • Low ammo pickup rate.
  • Moderate concealment.

PRO
  • High ammo pickup rate.
  • Moderate fire rate.
  • Very High concealment.
CON
  • Moderate damage.

PRO
  • High ammo pickup rate.
  • High fire rate.
  • Moderate concealment.
CON
  • Low damage.
  • Long reload time.
Notes
When modding weapons, always remember to pick a suitable silencer for the sniper to maximize its concealment with the Optical Illusions skill.

Secondary Weapon
We need a high damage secondary weapon with high concealment (approximate 32 after modded).
Both Bronco and Judge is suitable.
Bronco
Higher concealment.
Judge
Higher fire rate.
Playstyle
- Always aiming for the head so Graze effect can be triggered to deal damage AOE since this skill is our main damage source.
- Always crouching and taking cover whenever possible.
- Always running in the battlefield (for an additional 10% dodge).
- If your teammate is downed, you can run to them and use Inspire to revive them.
- Deploying Doctor Bag (DB) whenever you AND your teammates need it. Trying not to deploy DB for one time use only. This happens commonly in lengthy heists such as Heat Street, Hoxton Breakout Day One,...
- Whenever you are about to go down, use Swan Song to move to a safer space for your team to revive you, or prepare to kill an enemy and revive yourself by using a charge of Messiah.
- Your Messiah is replenished every time you use a DB and in One Down, you get downed 1 or 2 times before using DB to replenish, so don't hesitate to use Messiah whenever you can if your teammate is busy fixing the drill or they're out of Inspire.
- Feign Death will be very useful so cross your fingers.
- Your sniper can penetrate shield and thin wall.
- Using your melee for staggering or killing.
- Using concussion grenade for escaping, interacting, killing,...
- Keep practicing your maneuvering.
- Due to the low detection risk, this build can be very useful for heists such as Counterfeit, Trustee Banks,... This build is also very useful for doing stealth Crime Spree since you can't reset upon alarm.

@uneasyirish Yes. If your side arm has a high concealment, it works just fine.
uneasyirish 24 Apr, 2020 @ 8:03pm
would this work with a different side arm?

The only problem with Hacker perk deck is it has lower dodge compared to other perk decks.
As long as you don't play on open maps, you should be fine using Hacker deck.

Tips: You will regen HP pretty fast with the sniper because of AoE damage. Low health -> activate Pocket ECM -> Kill with headshot as many as possible -> ??? -> Profit

Does It work with hacker perk?
RickFam0us  [author] 25 Jun, 2019 @ 8:30pm
Edited.

The Contractor Silencer gives 0 concealment (-2 before Optical Illusions).
You also gain 1 concealment when equip a silenced weapon.
So in total you gain 1 concealment.

With the Contractor .308 the Contractor silencer doesnt give +2 concealment its -2 but still a very good build
