With the recent buildup of the Chinese navy and Japan responding with repealing Article 9 of their Constitution as well starting their own naval buildup, the US holds an exercise to test Japan's new carrier arm and its ability to hold a dual land bombardment and anti-surface warfare role. However, as the scenario moves on, it soon becomes apparent that the designers have a rather nasty sense of humor.
