TRIVIA & FACTS
  • Diesel trucks didn't come until 1923. Even then, most American trucks still used gasoline/petrol engines, up until the 60s. Whereas in the game, every truck uses 'diesel'.

  • Douglow is a spinoff of Douglas aircraft, yet there is the spinoff McDouglas-Donell which should have been McDouglow-Donell or McDonell-Douglow, since McDonnell-Douglas is a merger of Douglas and McDonnell aircraft company. Also note the double 'n' in the real-life McDonnell company.

  • Early jetliners such as the Boeing 707 (real-life Flying 808) has cruising speed around 500knot, the same as Boeing 747, MD DC-10, and higher than Airbus A300 (real-life Aero A300) 450knot cruising speed. The 707 also uses low-bypass jet, versus the turbofan of the latter three.

  • There is a 1921-1925 '2-6-2' train texture, but it is not 'released' in the game. Let me know if it actually does.

  • Sonic Cruiser idea came from Boeing (real-life of Flying), which gives airline companies choice between it and the more fuel-efficient 7E7. The Sonic Cruiser fall out of favor in 2003 and the 7E7 is developed into the 787 Dreamliner, which starts operation at the end of 2011.
