Well, why not?
Tips and Tricks
Here's a few things that you NEED to know when trying to get this achievement:

1. You MUST start a new game (UPDATE: Might not need to start a new game, you can start a new game to be safe but this can be optional. (Credit: Sim_saiD))
2. You can MINIMIZE this game
3. Game must be running at ALL TIMES
4. Sleep mode is ALLOWED (Note: This might be a case-by-case basis, to be extra safe, take your PC out of sleep mode when Wednesday is about to roll around, if it still doesn't work it might be PC specific, sorry if this tripped anybody up.)
5. Pausing is ALLOWED
6. You DO NOT need to have the window opened, it's fine if it stays minimized.
7. Controller inputs can be read while minimized so be careful (Credit: Swattii)

Basically, just keep the game running in the background and you can do anything you want as long as you pressed the "Start a new game" button.
Well, what are you waiting for?!
Open this bad boy up at around 11:50 PM on a MONDAY and have the game running until you obtain this achievement, easy as pie.

Hope this guide has cleared up anything you wanted to know and gives some people ease, if you have ANY QUESTIONS I may reply to you (Though if I'm not able to answer them I'm very sorry) and might even update this guide.

This is my first ever guide so it might be a bit sloppy and unprofessional but thank you for reading!

I already have this achievement, so this question is a little pointless re the game itself. Right now, my computer doesn't have a sleep option. I can use hibernate, but for some reason (about a week ago) the Sleep option disappeared. It doesn't even show up in settings. Any way to fix that?

If you have hibernation disabled like I did:

1) Set the Windows time/date manually to a Monday before midnight
2) Open the game
3) Begin a new game
4) Pause
5) Open command prompt as administrator
6) powercfg /h on
7) powercfg /h /type full
8) shutdown -h
9) Power on your computer
10) Press F2 and/or Delete (I was pressing F2, F10, and Delete randomly as my computer booted to get the BIOS screen)
11) Find the time/date settings in your BIOS to a Tuesday before midnight
12) Save and restart/reboot
13) Let Windows boot normally

You should have the game still running and Windows showing it's before midnight. Continue playing until 'midnight' (the fake Wednesday at midnight) and the achievement should pop like it did for me.

yep it was putting on sleep mode when it changes to Tues to Weds that made it not pop, did it again without sleeping it and I got the achievement.

It's fine, plus having that in the notes now means less people making that same mistake as I did.

Damn, that's unfortunate, I guess if the PC isn't out of sleep mode by the time Wednesday is about to roll around it doesn't work, either that or it's a case by case basis, I'll make sure to put a note down about that.

I'm guessing that if you leave your computer on sleep mode when it goes from Tuesday to Wed the thing won't pop. (well for me it didn't) I'll try this next week without sleep mode and see how it goes.

Don't use a controller while you play other games because the controller's input still registers, even if Stanley's Parable is minimized.

Good to know actually. @Sim_saiD

I didn't even start a new game. I Simply started the program on Monday evening 22:29, to the main menu. Then minimised. Then waited the duration. It popped.
