So I made this mod for those who wanted to use Faction Torso Gears on other Soldiers without needing to use a mod like Unrestricted Customization which might be more then what their asking for.

There isn't much to the mod itself, this contains Torso Decos for the Reapers, Skirmishers and Templars but enabled for all classes as well as all 3 armor tiers and non Ruler armor suits like Exo and Spider.

As a bonus I've also set it so that if you have subscribed to Claus's Skirmisher cape mod then the same applies to the capes from that mod so their available for Soldiers, Reapers and Templars to use, however you don't need to subscribe to that mod if you don't want it.

Yeah deleting the ini files in the config folder is recommended when switching up mods and simply fixing small problems in general, the files are remade the first time you load the game up afterwards which is why mods are initially not enabled until you launch the game a second time.

I'm not sure then sorry.

Have you tried clearing your configs in Documents\My Games\XCOM2 War of the Chosen\XComGame\Config

Doing this will refresh the configs next time you load the game, the first time you launch mods won't be active but after that mods should be good.

It's all from the base from the base game, though I have the Anarchy DLC installed, I don't use the Anarchy stuff.

Are the torso gears related to the Anarchy Children DLC or is it base game stuff?

Sorry if I'm being a noob here, I don't have that alien ruler armor.

Here's the thing:
Ex: in load outs, I picked the basic armor "Kelvar" then continue to the Customize section, Body, Torso... then Torso Gear, then I try browsing like "Torso Gear 0" but instead of selecting it I click back to the previous tab (Body) then there it is, the Gear is already equipped. I try to go back to de-select the gear but I see no options. I tried switching Torso Armor like the Spire Armor, same thing again. Now all of the Armor have Torso Gears on it and no way of to remove it unless I remove the mod.

Is it when you switch between armors to one's that normally don't have torso gears like say the Alien Ruler armor?
