Download Winrar and try to unzip it then put it into Demos folder.

For me the downloaded file looks like a white piece of paper

It always downloads as a zipped file. Unzip it and move the whole folder inside Demos. Also try restarting the game if demo isn't showing up right away ingame. It usually appears for me when I switch betweem competitive or armoury and it's there instantly after.

Did you put the downloaded folder inside the Demos folder? Unzip it and move it inside
