Mollies/incindiaries don't stop bots anymore. Unless you catch them in the initial explosion, all it's going to do is damage them as they walk straight through it. Bots aren't players so they don't really care about taking damage. Frags are going to be more useful in clearing points or lanes. Smokes CAN be used defensively even against bots, but they need to be deployed AWAY from the position you're holding, and in high-traffic lanes used by bots. Just hunker down, listen for coughing, and shoot at any silhouettes.
Other than those points, this is a good guide to follow.
