Description
The Four Horsemen were one of the most feared encounters in the Military Quarter of the necropolis Naxxramas. Thane Korth'azz, inspired by the Pale Rider of Death, is a fallen dwarven paladin that succumbed to the scourge after Uther the Lightbringer's death. He wields the powers of fire. Little is known of Lady Blaumeux, who was inspired by the Black Rider of Famine, other than that she wields the power of shadow to steal life from her foes. Alexandros Mograine, inspired by the Red Rider of War, wields the famed Ashbringer in corrupted form. The holy blade could turn scores of undead to mere ashes with a single swing, but he was betrayed by his son and killed by the very same sword. Kel'Thuzad saw fit to raise a powerful hero of the light, and its now-corrupted weapon, as a champion of the Scourge. Sir Zeliek, inspired by the White rider of Conquest, still retains his sanity. His faith in the light is strong enough that it still heeds him even through his undeath and the atrocities that he commits. Though his body is forced to serve the Scourge, his will remains unbroken in defiance as he pleads his victims to flee for thier lives.

This version includes the extensive amount of Military Ward music of Naxxramas, which greatly increases the filesize of the wallpaper due to Wallpaper Engine restrictions on video-type wallpapers. For a smaller file size, try the other version of this wallpaper without music.

Recorded in World of Warcraft at 30 FPS and trimmed to keep filesize reasonably low.

My thanks to Rucus, without him this footage wouldn't be possible! Let's enjoy World of Warcraft Classic!
