The Godly Familiar is a mod that incorporates a new familiar that provides the player with a ton of stat boosts and other skill boosts. There will be a short quest-line which allows you to obtain the familiar. Instead of the familiar being some sort of genie that's stuck in a lamp or a weird variation of Excalibur, you will have to befriend him. Luckily, he won't call you a fool and point a cane at you every time you speak.

I highly recommend obtaining him in a new save instead of a pre-existing save file. It will give a better emulation of story progression. However, this mod is fully compatible with pre-existing save files, so feel free to.
