1) press windows key + R -> type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mordhau\Saved\Config\WindowsClient
2) open Engine.ini
3) add ->
[SystemSettings]
r.ShadowQuality=0
4) save
5) go to files properties and check READONLY

1) press windows key + R -> type %appdata% -> press OK
2) go out of /Roaming into /AppData then go to Local/Mordhau/Saved/Config/WindowsClient/ open GameUserSettings.ini
3) change sg.ShadowQuality=1 to sg.ShadowQuality=0
4) save

if u change any settings while play mordhau — shadows resets to 1 and u need to do this again;
to avoid this — go to files properties and check READONLY, make sure you already have the settings you need in the game and you will not change anything.

1) set Shadows to Low (in game settings)
2) go to Steam/steamapps/common/Mordhau/Mordhau/Config/ open Defaultscalability.ini (just in case make backup copy)
3) change [ShadowQuality@0] and [ShadowQuality@1] to:
