Most of the rest of this game is a pretty decent improvement compared to the original, at least. It's a shame they didn't ensure the cutscenes would be properly lit with said new lighting. This is one of those odd games where the in-game cut-scenes and such look WORSE than the actual gameplay... usually it's the opposite.

Most of ACIII looks good, I agree - but the character lighting is among the worst I've seen. At first I thought it was maybe just being exacerbated by HDR or something but ...not the case. So many of these Haytham scenes would be pretty badass if he didn't look like a clown.

ac 3 does look good but then little things will be all messed up.ubisoft makes too many games at the same time and i think it messes things up by doing it quickly.its a better remaster than GTA trilogy lol.black flag remastered is a better remaster than the 3rd one

Mephilis78, the difference between these two games is 9 years. I think it must be shame to do the game in 2019 whitch looks much worst than AC: Brotherhood from 2010.

Perhaps you should be comparing the remaster to the original... not to a completely different game. Also... Ezio looks like a friggin Parakeet in Brotherhood. Still my favorite game, but the man looks silly.

Yeah lighting/shading is everything. In AC odyssey, carrying a torch vs not having torch makes a world difference in the details

The cutscenes in remastered don't look so hot depending on the area due to ligthing changes that werent adjusted with them in mind but overall the world itself looks way better.
