Installation
  • Download and unzip
  • Copy d3d9.dll to the game folder (SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Silent Storm)
  • If you want FullHD resolution then set the game resolution to 800x600

Yes, this bug appears at 1920x1080 resolution. Unfortunately, I do not know how to fix it.

Not to sound like too much of a computer clueless. Where is (SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Silent Storm) In Steam or in my harddrive? Also any hope of unlocking the game editor? The Original PC version required the word Wirbelwind added to the end of the EXE file.

Может, я криворук, но после копирования файла d3d9.dll, скачанного из твоей ссылки - игра не запускается. Взял старый dll из другого учебника(там твое имя упоминается) - все работает.

Source code available on github. In FakeDirect3D9.cpp change lines 105 and 106 to the required ones. Recompile and enjoy :)
