Also, it says that Racers and Rumblers are weak to Laser Towers, as it causes them to take dmg after they speed past.

I too have had my suspicions that that is what occurs, but haven't been able to definitively prove it yet. I hope it works that way redunzl.

One more point about interest: I think that if you kill all the aliens (and, possibly, don't lose any cores) before interest stops accruing, the game gives you credit for the interest you would have earned if you had left at least one alien alive to that point. I just finished the "Forge" map in "Super Grinder" mode with a final score almost 10 million higher (222.6M) than the resources displayed on the game screen (approx 208M) + tower resell value (about 15,000) + core bonus (48,000).

Good point on the Tesla towers redunzl. And yes, I believe the interest limit was added because you could keep aliens going round in circles infinitely and accrue an infinite score.

A hint about Tesla towers: Like concussion towers, they don't have any line-of-sight issues, so they can zap anything within range, even when they're behind other towers. Thus, they can be useful in a cluster surrounded by other towers, as they will be constantly zapping and pecking away at the aliens marching around the perimeter of your defenses. This can be especially useful on maps that don't let you shape the aliens' path.

Good point about selling towers before the end of the game to get extra interest, but there's a "gotcha" on maps that have a very long path to the core housing -- you stop earning interest after either a certain period of time after the last wave enters the map, or an alien in the last wave carries a core close enough to the exit. So, it's a balancing act to do two things: Weaken your defenses so that one or two aliens actually grab a core, leaving just enough to kill it before it leaves, and do all of your selling before you stop earning interest.

Thankyou very much for making this video. It was very well done and the commentary was thoughtful. Although the only real piece of info which was news to me and that I had a hard time figuring out for myself was how the scoring works. Perhaps I'm not far enough into the game for it to have told me yet, but I was getting impatient wanting to know how to get a couple hundred more points to snag some gold medals!
