Mount Erebus

Beskrivelse
Adds the natural wonder Mount Erebus to the game. Mount Erebus will only appear on a snow tile that has adjacent snow, snow hill, coast, or ocean tiles. People who have the Colorized Historic Moments mod will see a colorized version of the era image shown in the picture. This image is the first picture of Mount Erebus ever. It was drawn by Dr. Hooker, one of the first people to see this amazing wonder (we modified it so it would be consistent with the artwork already in the game).

Mount Erebus acts like a standard volcano and can erupt. If you have Terra Mirabilis and are playing a single player game, this eruption will be accompanied by a disaster movie showing the event (as GS volcanos are). We did it this way to avoid conflict with Terra Mirabilis, as that mod is one that just about everyone interested in adding wonders already has.

Gives +7 science for the Mount Erebus tile, +2 science for all adjacent tiles, and +6 science to any adjacent science district. If this is too much science for you, please see the notes below.

Notes:

People who like the idea of Mount Erebus but think it gives too much science can easily change it to fit their game. We have posted illustrated instructions in the Discussion section in a post named "Changing Mount Erebus." Please note, clicking the image links will open the pictures on an external site. If the image is small, click it to enlarge it. These instructions show how to change three things: the amount of science on the Erebus tile, the amount of science per adjacent tile, and the amount of additional science given to a science district built next to Mount Erebus. You can change these individually.

Mount Erebus is now compatible with the Greatest Earth and Giant Earth maps from YNAMP. If anyone wants compatibility with Largest Earth Custom, please send the appropriate coordinates and we can add that. We tried loading this map and did not have much luck so we could not obtain these coordinates.

As this was a mod from 2019, it does not include FrontEndActions in the modinfo file, nor does it have a Config file for said FrontEndActions. If you know what you're doing with mod file editing, you can compare any of the other modded Natural Wonders and include similar FrontEndActions for Mount Erebus' files and edit the Config to use its data. I fixed my local copy to now work with Select NaturalWonder++.

The volcano didn't spawn. It also not appeared in include/exclude wonders mod.

1- Does it support R&F ruleset?
2- I can't find it using Sukritact's Select Natural Wonders++. I don't see it in the selection in ANY ruleset

Hi AOM,
your mod has been translated by ASM590319 into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

Mount erebus produces a lot of gold in its eruption (real)
you should make it that everytime it erupt it increases the gold yield of its improved tiles

seconded would be lovely to have this appear within the picker.

It does show up on maps, just as recently as my last game it did. But it indeed does not show up in the wonder picker, it would be amazing if you were to make it compatible with that!
