Pudge is a hero best played in the middle lane, he provides a large amount of pressure against the enemy team as he's capable of disrupting anyone from a long distance and bring them to him, where he's then likely to cut you down to size and deal a lot of damage. Pudge is not very dependent on items, and is capable of taking control of the game if he has enough presence in the early to mid game. He falls off quite a bit in the lategame.
