Done on request.

This map covers Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire also Essex and North London.

There are 314 towns.

The area around London is packed solid as I tried to fit every town with a railway station
- My thought was you can bulldoze some if you want more space. ;)

There are 3 small fictitious land masses on the edges of the map representing the EU the Baltic and the ROW (rest of the world) to give somewhere for ships to head off to should you like playing with ships ;)

You will need experimental mode switched on.

I would suggest running this with GrandT's massive map settings.

Also use the no initial roads mod - because the 'overseas' destinations cannot be reached by road.

The map is 4037 x 4037.

Hi Rogue.Master
Yes my fault for not putting it in the description before - you need the 'No initial roads' mod this is because I placed overseas destinations for ships they are unreachable by road which gives the AI a problem. When it can't connect a town it just throws that message rather than leaving them unattached.

I was unable to use this "Unable to build street network"

Hmmm - thats just plain weird - Anyway I upped the blur amount 'a lot' and ran it so now it should be fine - the 'minecraft look' is gone and everything is a lot smoother.

I did a quick gaussian blur in Gimp and it got rid of the blockiness.

hi mad hatter good effort with the map but it needs a lot more work done to it

Hi Jhonno124 - I know - I ment to comment on that in the description - however - the issue is the flatness of the area - you can blur and blur and blur forever it just wont remove it - what does happen is you start to blur the sea and the land a lot. I tried blurring and then redoing the coast and sea levels and then blurring again etc but no luck. So in the end I decided to release it as is.
Believe it or not this is a major improvement on the original which looked even more like a minecraft map. I might start from scratch with the height map and give it another go with various alternative blurring options but gausian blur which normally gives the best as you spotted just isn't doing it.

You really need to blur the image a bit more to remove the jaggedness
