Fort de Vaux

Verdun, June 1916.

The fort de Vaux was lost after weeks of hard fighting inside and around the fort.
The last week of fighting saw heavy use of flamethrower, grenades and hand to hand combat with no water for the French consequent to the destruction of the water cisterns.

Now it is time to attack and recapture the fort and old French lines.
