Alpha Animals Power Expansion Addon

Name`s a little clunky but we`ll roll with that.

First off all, as the name might suggest you`ll need Alpha Animals by Sarg Bjornson for this mod to function as intended, so go check the mod out if you haven`t already, it`s awesome:

With that out of the way, what does this mod do now?

Well basically the mod just adds a new resource to the game: blue gel.


If you wanna know what blue gel is, how it is obtained and what can be done with it keep on reading, if you wanna find out yourself than this is the point to quit.

Okay, so what exactly does the mod do now?

This mod will add three new items, blue gel, condensed blue gel and the hexagel-core, as well as three new buildings, the blue gel battery, the condensed blue gel battery and the hexagel-core reactor and their corresponding research.


Blue gel:
Blue gel is an animal product obtained from "milking" Alpha Animals` aerofleet and colossal aerofleet, with the later giving way more blue gel per day (12 times as much to be precise).

Blue gel then can be used to build the blue gel battery, that is a little bit better than rimworlds regular batteries (1000W stored with a 60% charging efficiency), when the research is done.
Blue gel also can be processed into condensed blue gel at the biofuel refinery.


Condensed blue gel:
Condensed blue gel can then again be used to build the condensed blue gel battery (can store 2000W and has a charging efficiency of 80%) or can be crafted into hexagel-cores at the biofuel refinery, this will need a little bit of uranium as well.


Hexagel-core:
And last but not least the hexagel-core serves as fuel for the hexagel-core reactor (who would`ve guessed). The reactor costs 100 steel, 450 of alpha animals` skysteel, 12 components and 2 advanced components to build and produces 25kW of power as long as it is fueld.
