The Curse of Deadwood Town

It was such a dark and eerie night,
That there was nobody else in sight;
Whilst all the townsfolk were asleep
Into the cemetery did strangers creep

Three bad men came to rob a grave,
Looking for treasures yet to save;
But, as the coffin opened with a crack,
Out came the ghost of deadly Jack

They had released a phantom curse,
Who loved to kill — and much worse;
One by one, the ghost cut them down,
Indeed, it wiped out half the town

The ghost of Black Jack killed them all
In their homes, and streets, and hall;
Due to this spirit’s vengeful vow,
No-one wants to live in Deadwood now.
