If you stay in a group, the combine will shoot all of you at once, instead of just one of you.
Heal and Give Ammo to your teammates
You can give health to your allies, by binding a button for it in the options menu, the same can be done for ammo distribution.

Well, sure, when playing to finish the game, you could use strategy, but some of the most fun I've had with my friend is with both of us charging them full speed with shotguns without a care in the world about our health.

Yeah, pretty annoying how some people instead of taking turns or something always rush, have all the fun, while rest of peeps try to get there w/o possibility to at least kill one enemy

if people just thought out and had some Strategy, instead of "BlitzKrieging" everything,
that would also help... but nobody pay attention to chat or strategy....
" Who can get thru the map the fastest..." seems to be the goal...

Aye 11/10 This is a really great guide. Unfortunately everyone just rushes on every Synergy server these days even if I tell them not to rush and offer to heal/supply them.
