The AKM is an evolution of the AK 47, widespread all around the world. Its creators, Soviets, had control over a great portion of land, so their soldiers had to fight in different biomes and environments. With this bearement in mind, they created a portable AKM variant that keeps a good damage and rate of fire and gives lighter movement.
This gun, the AKMS, was intended for Paratroopers and assault squads, who had to move fast for greater attack power.
