Mobile Crane L 1045 Series

The L 1045 Series mobile crane is a rubber-tired hydraulic-powered crane with a telescoping boom on a truck carrier. It was designed to provide considerable advantages in construction, cargo, recovery, and demolition operations.

VEHICLE OVERVIEW:

The cabin gives you access to a control seat with several passenger seats. In the middle it has a small kitchen, toilet, bed, and lockers. This makes it possible to send crews on longer duration assignments in the L 1045. The cabin is airtight and comes equipped with O2 storage and an air vent, making this vehicle ideal for low oxygen and low temperature environments.

From the boom's rear control seat you have quick access to controls for rotating, raising, extending, and winching the boom crane. Cameras mounted around the crane allow a single operator to quickly and safely maneuver the crane's boom and hook.

The boom's industrial hook is built contains merge blocks which allows the attachment of a number of tools. The stock crane comes with a magnetic landing gear hook, ready to lift anything you need to move. With the boom lowered the hook can easily reach the ground. When raised and extended the hook can hoist cargo as high as 65 meters (213.3 ft; 26 large blocks) into the air.

Forward and rear lights provide navigational illumination, while spotlights attached to the boom and the winch tools illuminate the work site.

OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS:

Driving:
--------------------
- Use the main cabin's control seat to drive the truck
- Disengage the parking brake prior to travel
- Headlights and taillights can be activated from the control seat
- Use [Action group 1] to control the lights and wheels
- Use [Action group 2] to view the cameras

Crane Operations:
--------------------
- Engage the parking break prior to using the crane
- Use the rear cockpit to control the boom
- Use [Action group 1] to move
- 1/2: Control the rotation of the boom
- 3/4: Control the raising of the boom
- 5/6: Control the extension of the boom
- 7/8: Control the winch
- 9: (Default) Engage/Disengage the hook
- Use [Action group 2] to view the cameras


(If the boom won't raise, double check that the hook isn't locked onto the body of the truck itself!)
