“A few years after the fall of XCOM, ADVENT had an overpopulated Soviet city called "Balik". This was where megacorporations reign supreme and try to manipulate world governments and agencies. A lot of terrible events went down, but the city had a hidden threat: a terrorist organization known as EXALT.

To deal with the threat, a United States agency, named Blacklight, was contracted to wage war against EXALT and ADVENT in hopes of reviving the Resistance. That didn't go along too well. Just like the other Resistance groups that tried to fight back against ADVENT, they went into hiding soon after...

It wasn't until you came back that Blacklight resurfaced once again. And let's just say they're more than happy to join the fight again.

DESCRIPTION

Commanders of XCOM, I give you another new mod from the Blacklight Retribution series: Helmets! This mod was originally ported by uncle Gunman. This is just a WotC conversion.

This mod adds in detail:


  • 10 Colorable Helmets
  • Males and Females!

Nope. I work by my own terms and my own pace. No requests. Suggestions noted though.


Q1 PART II) [OBLIGATORY]Can you port to Vanilla XCOM 2?

Nope. I am NOT going to port anymore mods to Vanilla. It's a pain to convert it to Vanilla (even switching it back to it when I have mods for WotC is troubling enough for me).

If you want to do it then by all means go for it. Don't forget to give credit for the original mod.

@Noire Note also this wasnt my mod either. It was a port from Uncle Gunman so I dont know how he does his work. Still Ill try to get to it eventually. Thanks.

Some of the shadows rendering on the helmets look incorrect/messed up. This is probably due to normal map issues, but is easily fixed. If you know how and still have the textures, then just invert the green value and the issue will hopefully be fixed.
